57 Integration tools to automate your MarTech stack

It was about time that we updated our overview of integration solutions. We started the tradition back in 2019 with the blog post 12 Tools to Integrate Your MarTech Stack. In 2021 we updated the list and found 25 integration tools in total. Today we count 57 integration tools (that we know of). May be a small number, but these companies are the game changers.

If data is gold, then integrations are silver

If data is the new gold, then integrations are the new silver. That is not just us saying that. There is an increasing number of stats saying that. Take a look at the image below. We crowd sourced this and last year all the research we could find on the importantce of integrations in company tech stacks. The image is availalble as PDF with hyperlinks to the research corresponding with each image. Just request a copy here.

Tech stack integration stats and research

In 2022 we listed the increasing research that shows integration is becoming more important. And these 21 graphs show that integration is key. Just take this one: 187 professional marketeers indicated that the area where marketing tools needed to improve most was the ability to integrate with other technologies. As close runner-up, data integration was the second most important area where marketing tools needed to improve.

To emphasize the importance of integration, another research has shown that integration capabilities are now the most important factor in choosing the right replacement for a MarTtech application. And this is becoming a more and more important factor for marketing ops every year!

Also, when marketeers were asked what prevented them from using and investing in MarTech, inadequate technology integration was the number one reason. Integrations are a big thing for Martech. Not only is it top of mind for many marketeers, integrations are also key enablers for other MarTech trends. Trends such as personalization, automating marketing workflows, and CDPs.

An overview of the integration tools industry

As said, today we count 55 integration tools that we know of, ranging from the most well-known behemoths such as Microsoft Power Automate and Zapier to small and young start-ups such as Workflow86 or Wyzebulb.

All these solutions help no-developers to create workflows by using prefab plug-and-play integrations. No coding of APIs required. The names of the workflows are varied. Flow, Integration, Data Blend, Process, Integrator, Zap, Recipe, Connect,-, Applet, Flow, Workflow, Scenario, Flow, Step, Workflow, or just Automation.

Most integration solutions are located in the Americas. Not much of a change there.

A quick look at the company performance of these tools shows that the number of integrations increases in line with the revenue per employee ratio of these companies.

Not surprisingly, the number of integrations also shows a link with the license fee per month.

57 integration tools for you to explore

Below you will find the list. This time, for each tool, we have added information such as founding year, location, number of employees, the name of the integration entity, the price for 5 users per month, the number of integrations, and revenue. We hope you like it!
